Rey, Finn, and BB-8 attempt to flee towards a Quadjumper, but TIE/fo fighters destroy it. While Finn staggers to an animal trough to desperately slake his thirst, he notices thugs attempting to steal a BB unit droid, which Finn recognizes as BB-8, from a woman, Rey, but she fends them off with her staff. The First Order tracks Finn to the settlement, and launches an airstrike in attempt to search for BB-8 and the map.
